Why grind?
Reasons to grind a stump?
Not only are they unsightly, but they can also become trip hazards.
Over time the stump may begin to decay and begin breaking apart. Some people may think this is alright. But think about this scenario, you are out mowing your lawn, and that debris gets mowed up with your lawn mower and you hurt the mower or your self. That would be a bummer.
Another reason is as some stumps begin to break down they become a new home for insects and other critters to begin to call home. Which can lead to having to have pest control and insects companies come out and spray to remove this nuisance.
Some stumps also begin to sprout and begin growing again as well if not ground low enough to kill off that stump.
What do we offer??
Well the first thing is we don't bring in a excavator and dig it out. There is a time and place for that. Not only does this usually effect you, the customers landscape, but it also rips up root balls and other things attached to the stump causing a bigger mess .
What we do is come in and figure out a game plan.
This usually involves digging up around where we will be grinding . Setting up our protective boards to stop flying debris from breaking or hurting anyone as safety is our number one goal.
We then begin removing the stump to the customers agreement with us.
